Your chips are American. How is that sovereign?
Every AI chip used in Europe is designed outside the EU. What decides control is who owns and runs the hardware and which law applies to the operator. We own the racks and choose the hardware per workload.
You run Chinese models. How is that sovereign?
Running open weights on our hardware in Munich is not running Chinese software or infrastructure. Nothing is sent to the model's maker. You choose the model, and you can switch at any time.
Who owns and controls Infercom?
Infercom SCS is a Luxembourg limited partnership, managed and controlled in Europe, with no US parent. Investors hold economic shares without management rights. We share the full control chain on request.
What if the US stops exporting AI chips?
Open-weight models keep you portable: you can run the same model elsewhere or yourself. We design for more than one hardware supplier.
Does anything go to the US?
On EU sovereign models, requests are processed in Munich and nothing is stored on disk. SambaNova, our US operating partner, has remote access to run the platform; the DPA discloses it. Global catalog models run outside the EU and are marked.
Is GDPR compliance not enough?
GDPR sets the rules for processing personal data. It does not stop a foreign law from reaching a provider under that country's jurisdiction. That is decided by who controls the provider, not by where the servers are.
